Last week I taped a style segment for the TV Guide Network that will air the day after the Emmys. The style segment will show you 5 different fall fashion trends for 2011 that I picked out and styled from head to toe. The best part? You can get these fall must-haves for a fraction of the price because each piece costs less than $100! Below you can see a preview of the style segment but the full segment will air on the TV Guide network the day after the Emmys. Make sure to set your DVR!
I have been in the stores a lot lately. So much that I pretty much know the floor layout and most contemporary collections by heart. I am even pretty keen on what sizes are left in some items and how many colors it comes in. Let me put it this way, sales girls look at me and say: “you’re still here?!” or “you haven’t left yet?!” So basically I live at Saks, Neimans and Nordstroms which has made it really easy for me fall in love with certain items and grow a strong dislike for others. I want to show you some of my early fall favs that can easily be incorporated into your wardrobe to help you look and feel your best.
Colored Denim. Here’s the thing, it looks scary but it really isn’t. Colored denim is so fun and a great way to color block which as some of you know, is a huge trend this year. My advice is to find a brand that fits you well and try on a bunch of different colors. Doesn’t matter if you prefer skinny or flare – just try it. You then can pair them with a slouchy white v-neck tee and neutral colored cardi. Layer with some long necklaces or stack a bunch of bracelets on your arm, throw on a pair of wedges and you are good to go. Check it out:
